Paul Christopher has spent 22 years as a career fireman, Paul has been on several special teams including both Dive and Land Search Teams, as well as High Angle and Confined Space Rescue.

Becky Christopher has had a long career in EMS as well.  Leading her to earn a spot on a SAR (Search and Rescue) team in the Blue Ridge Mountains and becoming Swiftwater certified.

Paul & Becky have a homestead in the Sandhills of North Carolina.  Together they co-founded Lostways Survival and Homestead.  Both Paul and Becky grew up steeped in the Appalachian tradition of being self-reliant and living both off the land and with the land.

Learning both homestead and woodsman skills as a fundamental practice of everyday living.  Ultimately leading not only careers where they help others in the worst situations every day but also leading them to teach what they know sharing their invaluable knowledge and skills with others.
